Biography
With career experiences encompassing business ownership, consulting and real estate, our natural progression was into investment real estate. Jay Suttenberg is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, and Steve Berman of
the Polytechnic University in New York. In addition, Steve Berman holds MS from M.I.T. and an MBA degree from the University of Colorado. Jay Suttenberg has earned his MBA from Rutgers University. During our past careers as business owners and consultants Jay owned and managed a multi-facility, mid-sized food processing company. Steve on the other hand has held management positions with Westinghouse, SKF and Maritz Inc. and for the past two decades was a Principal with several of the "Big 8, Big 6,
Big 4 Firms" (they just kept disappearing) of KPMG Peat Marwick, Coopers & Lybrand, Price-Waterhouse, and finally Grant Thornton. Over the past few years we have counseled friends, colleagues and clients on investments emphasizing retirement planning. We currently work in investment real estate, particularly land, residential, triple net and commercial real estate. We are associated with Prudential Fox and Roach, the largest Realtor in New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware; with Prudential Douglas Elliman, the largest Realtor in the New York Metropolitan Area; and with Prudential Carruthers, one of the largest Realtors in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and the Washington DC areas.

How Do We Make Money?
You might be wondering how we make money. That is a logical question. As Realtors we are fiduciary to our buyers under a formal Buyer's Agreement. However, we are paid only by the Seller of the property -- that is it!
We are not CPAs nor Attorneys. If you have legal or tax questions, we recommend that you consult your chosen tax and/or legal professionals.

Why work with a REALTOR®?
Realtors, as members of the National Association of Realtors, must adhere to a strict code of ethics. In addition, we are licensed by the respective State in which the property is bought and sold. The licensing process thus assures that we are held to the highest level of professionalism.
